Viral Clips & Post Kits

Two features, available in Claude (Vidiking connector) and through the API:

  • Viral clips from your video: a podcast, interview, talk or stream becomes ranked vertical clips, ready for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels.
  • TikTok / YouTube post kit: everything needed to upload one video: cover or thumbnail, titles, caption or description, hashtags, hook text and a checklist.

What each clip gets

  1. Picked and scored: self-contained 15–60 s moments with a strong hook, emotional peak and payoff, scored 0–100 (hook, emotion, clarity, payoff, controversy + audio energy). Best first.
  2. Cold open: if the strongest line isn't first, it plays first.
  3. Tight edit: silences over 0.3 s and filler words ("um", "uh") cut; the framing changes every few seconds with zoom punch-ins on key words.
  4. 9:16 framing: follows the face of whoever is talking; split-screen for fast back-and-forth; blurred background when there's no face.
  5. Captions: big, bold, word-by-word; keywords highlighted. Styles bold, pop, clean, or your highlightColor.
  6. Hook text on screen for the first 3 seconds (1–3 versions per clip for A/B tests).
  7. Loudness normalised to −14 LUFS.
  8. Packaging: cover image plus a different title, caption and 3–5 hashtags for TikTok, Shorts and Reels (identical reposts are penalised).

Your video

  • Upload link: one video, up to 4 GB and 180 minutes, deleted after 48 hours.
  • Direct file link: a URL to the file itself (e.g. .mp4).
  • Not supported: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other platform pages. Their terms don't allow downloading; download your own video (e.g. YouTube Studio → Download) and upload it.
  • Only use videos you own or have permission to edit and repost.

API

POST /v1/social/upload-link → { uploadId, uploadUrl }. Open uploadUrl in a browser to upload. Status: GET /v1/social/uploads/:uploadId (waiting / ready).

Both return a jobId. Poll GET /v1/jobs/:jobId; when COMPLETE, result holds the package or the clips (video URLs, cover URLs, scores and copy per platform), and stage shows progress while running. A job.complete webhook carries the same result.
